Hi Image Could Not Be FoundAll
Any idea where I can get one of these? I see I can buy a container of them from China but think this would be a bit of overkill for one torch!
Thanks

Try this seller, I have found him to be quite good and he offers 2 year warranty on many AGMs.

any decent electronics
shop, like Jaycar or Altronics or one of their stockists.
Lots of automotive battery shops sock or can obtain all sorts of batteries these days.
If it is one of the more obscure sizes, you may have to go to someone like Farnell electronics, radiospares or one of the serious small battery suppliers like master instruments or somnar inox
the shape looks a little unusual, perhaps that the photo.....post some dimensions & I'll look in the books.
Years ago we used to graft a similar battery into dolphin tourches and make up a charger from the ciggy lighter........A mate of
mine did one and used it for years as an electrician...always charged and plenty of run time.
cheers

Last time I needed one of those, I got it from Supercheap..
Pretty sure BCF has them also, and Jaycar would be a safe bet I would think..
and Mrs Smith's little boy Richard may or may not have them in store ;-)

Lyndon NT - try Century batteries - I have a small 6 volt century battery in a dolphin like torch which can be recharged.
Not sure about the price.

Hi Lyndon,
Jaycar have a 6v 4.2 ah (SB2496 - it is advertised as 6v 4.5 but it is actually 6v 4.2) which should probably work but I think you find that the cost of the Battery will almost be the same as replacing the torch/spotlight that it came from.
At least that's my experience.
I had a 1,000,00 candle power Super Cheap spot light which has a similar battery being a 6V 4.5 ah battery. The cost of the battery is $15.00. I can buy a whole new spotlight with double the candle power (2,000,000) for $19.95.
Cheers
Craig
