I'm in the market for a locker and a compressor. ARB have a deal going at the moment, you get a free CKMA12 compressor with a locker.
Anyway, here come the dumb questions. Can I use the compressor to pump up tyres if it's wired/plumbed in for the locker? I'm guessing I can, but I just want to make sure.
And, from memory, the compressor ARB used to fit with their lockers, was a small thing, that you could use to pump up your tyres, but apparently it took ages. Then they released a new compressor which had more grunt, then a gruntier one again. Does anyone know if the CKMA12 is that first compressor I mentioned, because if it is, I may still have to buy another compressor for my tyres.
Thanks in advance.

Check with ARB
They have a small one mainly for locker duty and a bigger one that does tyres much better.

Hiya Siringo,
I have 2 ARB compressors in my Patrol, the CKMA12 and the CKSA12. The latter is connected to my front locker and is the small first one you are referring to. I would not go pumping tyres up with that one as it was only designed for the air lockers in mind. I have the CKMA12 mounted under the drivers
seat which I use purely for pumping the tyres back up. The CKMA12 can be used for both front and rear ait lockers and also for pumping up the tyres.
So in answer to your question the free CKMA12 they are offering with deal will pump up you tyres. I would just make sure that they put the connectors on for the tyre inflation kit.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Darren

If you get both lockers you get the larger capacity compressor. Anyway that's what they did when I took up th eoffer when it came out last year. Best $4000 I've spent on my vehicle.
