3 ways have an element for each of the 12v and 240V modes - the 240V element will most likely be burnt out - a fairly common replacement job for the service centres doing this work.

G'day Nick
I have the RM2553, the 240v element lasted 1year 11 months and 14 days. Thank god for 2 year warrantys. The guy in Brisbane took 20 mins to replace it, after 2 other companys told me it would take 2 days and they would have to remove the fridge. Interesting ? Yes this is quite common.
Cheers
Joel.

Nick,
Did it ever work on 240V?
If not then it could be as simple as not being plugged in or turned on at the power point.
If it has worked before, then it's most likley the 240V heater element or thermosat.
