Having had Jeeps for 25 years overseas madee me buy one in Australia according to my income as an overseas pensioneer, I bough a Jeep Patriot with some extras to tow my Cub Weekender Camper. The problem is that although it is a cheaper consumer of petrol it lacks low gear box that is needed like the bread when
parking or manouvering with the camper and on hills with 15+degrees. i need to change the car while in warranty. What I can afford is to give my car and 10 to 15k AUD for a real 4x4. Where to go? What to look for?
Thanks.

Carlos,
Without having much more detail, I would suggest that you revisit your Jeep dealer and trade the Patriot for a Wrangler or Cherokee. That will give you low range.
