When an old thread is added to who would know about it?

Hello
Your previous thread on this same subject is still alive and
well so please re-post your comments above there. Starting a new thread on the same subject every week or so makes it hard for
forum users to follow. For this reason we have locked this thread.
Cheers
(and good luck on trip)

If threads are selected by "response" time the old thread with the new post will appear at the top of the list.

Or you can apply a "Thread Watch" to any thread which interests you and thus receive an email of each new posting to that thread.

Like cricket and football umpires some people are never happy with their decisions.
But you will never see them put their hand up for the job.
I don't agree with every moderation , but I accept the umpires decision and go to the next post.

The only ones that would know about it would be any one that had replyed before or unless you have it on watch. I have noticed with some other forums, doesnt matter how old it is , if you put a post on an older/previous post then it will come to the top of the list. When you first click on the
forum it has a title ""Whats new"" and shows any new posts either follow ups from older and newer posts or a post that has just been started.....................

That is the view you will get if you set the Sort Results by Response Time setting on the main
forum index page - in the Display Options section. Have a play with this setting - it is remembered for your computer so set this to Response Time sort and this will become your default sort option.
