You'd probably need a special primer to get it to take to the cladding.
I'd talk to a paint professional.

If it has been powdered coated you may have trouble getting anything to adhere to it, try a caravan repairer for advice.

hi kieth
all i have ever used with good success was basic auto enamel
scrub the existing old paint back with a rich mix of truck wash and a stiff broom and wash off then
sand back any damaged patches use auto filler undercoat and then the top coat
providing you have spray painting experience and can competently handle a spray
there is twopot paint that has a hard surface finish but will be
miles dearer
its quiet easy i painted my old van twice over a 15year period
cheers
