Hi Robert,
We were there a couple of years ago and then it was difficult with quite a few deep, but dry, creek crossings and some rocky tracks.
I don't think that I would tow any trailer up that track due to the steep inclines in and out of the creeks. I wouldn't go that way if wet.

Rob

We went through last Aug and it was fairly rough. Towed a camper but it was bloody hard work, esp Jeanie R (sp). Went through 4 years ago and it was a piece of cake by comparison.Well worth it though ... just allow 2 days.

Robert

We also drove along it last August, south to north. No trailers. Three cars and all was fine. Two 100 series and one GU, all 4.2 TDs. If I had a 4WD trailer in tow, then I would still drive it.

Just take it easy and you should enjoy the drive.

Took about 8 hours with a couple of cuppa and rest stops. We saw a bundle of bikes coming south and had a chat to the grader driver. Not another soul.

Don't be so childish Ron. You know exactly what I mean.

To use your terms a "Rambo or crocodile dundee" one.

Robert ..
My advice is to forget about it till after the wet thats when the grader is sent out , That way you can follow him like Phil did.

The time myself and 3 other vehicles went along it ( 1 towing a trailer with boat and freezer onboard) it took us two days to do 90k. We were the second group through after the wet.
