Greetings , over the years have ripped my mud flaps of one by one- now need to get some more, as i have to drag my boat down 15 KM of dirt road before i hit tar , and i kick up a lot of stones :(

Looked on fleabay -- nothing available - is this something i can only get from Ni$$an or are they available as an after market item , and if so - where ?

thanks in advance

Thanks uncle Laurie - the originals were moulded - these ones are not right ? obviously they will have to be fitted differently to the moulded one-

Is it an easy install - ( ie just drill a few new holes and use self tapping screws )

and do they provide same level of protection as the moulded ones ?

thanks for the link - been added to my watch list

BB I have had these on since 2008 when I was working on a cattle station in the Pilbara. I had lost the others in transit, so I took my time fitting them ( about half an hour each side) and did some trimming to fit them neatly. I also put a length of chain from the bottom of each flap to the steel body work ,just inside the underneath of the brake light. this helps to stop tearing them off when reversing.
hope this helps a bit mate.

cheers Unc

If you can fit plain flat mudflaps, get youself down to your local diesel spares supplier.
They will have plain flat flaps in all sorts of sizes and not exensive.

cheers

Begaboy
Have fitted old conveyor belt rubber to my last 2 vehicles, simply cut roughly to shape and then sand edges smooth, with a grinder.
Has reinforcing already in them and can be kept clean with tyre black.
If you don't have original metal straps, then fit "panel washers" to help with the strength.
You will find belting at any belt supplier/Splicer and they will normally have plenty of left overs and old belt around for spares if required.
Hope this helps
Cheers
