Hi Nick
Been a while since I fitted
mine but I would say the purple is for the hand brake connection so that the screen will not work unless the hand brake is on. You can usually just connect it to earth. The red RCA, again most likely is sound output to the stereo, would not worry about that one.
Not really positive info but may help
Chris.

Red is usually hooked to the accessory power, so the screen switches off when you leave the car.
Black is neg.
The two yellows are the two RCA connectors for video input (usually reversing camera) and the second one is a spare that can be used for a second camera or other screen input (eg DVD). Do not use this for the computer input as the picture quality won't be good. the black female plug might be for power to the reversing camera.
VGA input is the best one to use for your computer input (mapping). It will give you the clearest picture. I can't see it in your photo, but expect you have a VGA lead that connects directly to the port on your monitor.
The USB can be left alone if you are not using the touch screen. If you want to use the touch screen, then you need to load the included software onto your computer.
You may need to purchase longer VGA, video and USB leads depending on where you're planning on storing the pc.

Small blue wire might be the one that goes to the reversing light circuit so the camera switch on automatically when reverse is selected. And the Red RCA connector is probably sound input.
Your leads don't seem to match your diagram. I assume its the lead that plugs into the screen. And normally the two yellow and one red inputs are female not male, so it looks a little odd.
I've got a very similar screen at home and will check my instructions when I get home tonight or tomorrow.

For the record the small blue wire is a memory type like in a stereo continuous positive + from the battery .
If not connected the moitor still works but needs to be turn off & on when power is on for the screen to display .
