Thanks Bruce. Yes I have tried the fridgeshop and they have some demos available however the warranty drops from 5 years to 12 months. Thanks again

I paid $999 in NT but also got the small 8 can cooler or warmed thrown in ($99.00)

We got caught short and did'nt have any choice - If you get it cheaper I would rather not hear about it!!

Hi Bear. $999 is about the best I have seen down here in vic without any freebies. So I hazard a guess and say that was about the norm now. Thanks alot.

Macca

try and get the extra 8 can cooler/warmer if you can - they are worth about $99 but apart from that they work great. I asked the guy who sold it to me to keep the extra and drop the price and he stated that Waeco gave these to the shops to give away with the 50CF - but I have also seen them for sale so maybe some shop are just flogging them and not passing on the extra?

at the 4x4 expo show in melb they had a package of the 50lt fridge, insulated fridge bag, 240v adapter, digital thermometer , and a little 12v can cooler for $1100 all up. I have the waeco catalouge at home and they list all the standard prices which i am pretty sure the dealers have to stick to, so go for the best freebies option.Moo... everyone knows what a Jackaroo looks like :-)
