We've just come back from a fortnight down there, stuck mostly to the better roads and tracks as one of the other vehicles had transfer case problems the second day so 2wd only from then on.
Rained most days at the higher altitudes, spent 3 days at
Talbotville, river was running
well and the grass is a couple of feet high, really needed a slasher or take a whipper snipper. Quite cool especially at night for this time of the year, soon as the sun went down it was beanies, jackets and long pants.
Up on the
Dargo high plains road it was sleet and ice everywhere with a huge windchill factor.
Most days we had abit of everything weather wise, all four seasons but never got past mid twenties temp wise even on the few sunny days.
