Just a thought. When will we be getting full screen from E.O.? What can I do with the wasted space each side of the E O. screen. Any suggestions.

esarby,
That would be nice, I think that the web page is this size for those with 4:3 screens, most laptops and all new monitors are 16:9.
Maybe as part of the refresh this could be done...

So who runs their browsers maximised? I run my browser so I can adjust its size. I have its height nearly the height of the screen and its width a bit over half the width of the screen. That way I can watch my e-mail client (or any other programme) on the LHS of the page. If I am working in a window on the LHS I can keep an eye on the browser on the RHS.
I note most of my friends work that way. Its easier to work between two windows. Even my wife is now running that way now she has become a little more proficient on the computer.
Management, please leave things as they are.

That is Ok if you like working that way. I myself have five or six windows running at the same time. E.O. Email, VOIP, Chess and others. With one click I can switch between them. Everyone is full screen except E.O.

I'm pretty sure the site would be running something like Google Analytics which gives detailed reports on screen sizes and resolutions viewing the site. It's amazing how many old clunker screens and computers are still out there. If they upped the screen content then anyone viewing on a smaller screen would be greatly inconvenienced by having to scroll sideways all the time to read every line. Why not press ctrl + a few times in the browser and make the content fill it?

I for one hope we don't. Blowed if I am going to buy a new monitor just for a
forum. If it goes wide screen and I have to keep sliding to the right then I will give this
forum away. As I will any other
forum. That's why I will not watch TEN. It's wide and we do not have a wide TV.

Have you tried holding Ctrl down and using centre mouse scroll bar?

Why? Its fine the way it is. I am not complaining about the current
forum page layout. And I do not have to scroll sideways to see it all.
But if they change the width of the
forum page then I would have to change the display to a smaller text size (cntrl etc) so that I do not have to scroll all the time. That is NOT acceptable as I am comfortable with the current text size. Your suggestion would mean that the text size would be quite smaller than I currently have. I do not want to change the text size. I am quite comfortable with the current screen text size. I do not want it any smaller.
That's why I say, leave it alone.

The size is perfect for running two pages simultaniously on a wide screen. If you like to fill it completely with ExOz then click "Page" on the top right of the screen & zoom to 150%.
