Am driving south next week. Has anyone recently come through the Channel Country/
Coopers Creek area? Any good fishing/swimming spots of recent?

Hot time of the year to be travelling the Channel Country.
Better check if the roads are open as there has been some rain around.

Top End hot and Channel Country hot are two different things. Here the sun can burn a hole in your head before you know it. I speak with knowledge...20 years Top End resident...10 years Central Australia. So the comment stays the same...take care.
