Hi Bill

What version of Natmap do you have: 2003, 2005 or 2008? I assume you are referring to the viewing program included on the DVD. Is this correct?

What PC operating system are you using? I think there were problems with Vista.

Have you tried re-installing the program to see if that fixes the issue?

Cheers
Greg

Bill

I just found this troubleshooting guide on the GeoScience Australia Website

NATMAP Raster 2005 and Digital Maps 250K 2008 - Product Troubleshooting

Have a read through and see if a solution to your issue is evident.

Cheers

hi greg, thanks for the reply, i have the 2008 version the computer is running windows 7 home prem. i have reinstalled the programme twice. hasent fixed it have tried disabling the security still no go. i have read the solutions on the web site. nothing on there seems to fit my problem. i have come to the conclusion that this problem started after an up date from windows i maybe wrong there. not up with computers id rather be driving a mack truck so not game to delve into the workings of computers. cheers bill

Hi

...can you still use the maps or does your issue with the reference map stop you in you proceeding? There are a number of other programs you can use to view the maps. The most popular is probably OziExplorer but others also use Trackranger or CompeGps Land (plus other less common ones). Full versions of these programs are not free but Oziexplorer and CompeGPS Land offer demo/trial versions to try out on their respective websites...maybe worth having a look.

Cheers
