Hey All,
We were looking at driving through Kanangra Boyd NP on Friday, taking Kowmung River Fire Trial over towards Mount Warong. However I have just called NPS and they have advised that Kowmung River Fire Trail is closed and not likely to reopen on Friday.
Can anyone advise a nice alternative route?
Basically we are heading from the Blue Mountains down to
Goulburn and would like to stay on dirt as much as possible :)
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

There is road through
Black Springs
If you go through
Jenolan caves Continue past the Kanangra walls road which leads to the Kowmung River fire trail to
Black springs then across the Abercrombie river turn at the Wambenone caves road then on to Mittagong across the Goodmans ford bridge.
Mostly dirt high range you can stay at the goodmans ford
camp
