Looking for someone in Northern Suburbs of
Perth with a GXL Prado that can do a test fit of our Spare Wheel Cover at our premises. We were led to believe by the supplier that the Size 5 will also fit the Prado and so didn't buy the Size 7 becaue it was the only vehicle for which it was required specificially. (The size 7 is only 1" different, and the elastic stretch on the very high quality covers is apparently a fine fit with a size 5 but we would like to confirm this). I passed your message on to the Prado email group as
well. Out of interest, any Prados get upsized to the 265/75R16 tyres. (265/70R16 are standard). The 75 series tyres are stronger, cheaper and give a little more clearance.

BTW, I was referring to the 90 series ('96-'02) Prado. The 120 series will be slightly different.

Thanks Desray - I look forward to your call. Both your tyres are exactly what I want to test the wheel cover on so we can confirm to other buyers what size bests suits the Prado as there seems to be conflicting info about this and we have tons that apparently fit the Prado but no one is buying them cause they think they wont. Free wheel cover (if it fits) to be given to the first person who gets their Prado here for a test fit to say thanks for your trouble.ExplorOz

I'll be interested in the outcome, as I made an enquiry to yourselves a while ago regarding getting one for my 03 Prado. I've tried an after market 16" cover on but it stretches it way too much.
