For anyone who is travelling over the New Year,the
Lightning Ridge Rd , thru
Hebel &
Dirranbandi onto
St George, is now open after several weeks of being closed off due to flood waters.

Just a update, RACQ & QLD GOV sites have been updated, the Exploroz QLD road conditions has not been updated. And if you are travelling North from
Walgett like we were yesterday, the local shire council have failed to remove their "
No Access to QLD"
sign so drive-on regardless!!!

Reckon they should close the highway between Boggabilla and Morree and rebuild it, it's so full of pot holes and dangerous to all traffic.
