Gentlemen, we have rectified the pump replacement issue, with purchase and installation of an aftermarket electric fuel pump: FP006, 12 volt 40kpa. Available on ebay at $40.00 (East Coast Auto Spares) Genuine Nissan replacement was priced at $742.00
The replacement pump needs re-mounting using sheet-metal adaptor plate, and 2 brass fuel hose fittings, a straight and an elbow with 1/8 NTP X 1/4 tails.
Pump comes up the same size/length for mounting.
Is now operational with sub
tank switch, delivering similar transfer rate.
Pump was shock mounted using existing mount rubbers, but horizontally.
Nissan wiring connector was transferred over. Battery disconnect may be required for re-set of pump controller and sub-
tank amber light.
