Just heard about it in WA anybody know much about it?

I live in Pinjarra. There ain't no desert here. Nice river and plenty of trees and Coles. There is a Bauxite mine some miles away.

Tried googling pinjarra desert and found no info? Do you have a link?

Not much desert country around Pinjarra near mandurah.

Maybe its that part of the Great Victoria Desert that takes in Anangu Pitjantjatjara land. Corrupted spelling and/or pronunciation could be the difference?

I can't remember where i saw it that is why I asked,it must have been on a 4x4 website because it was marked out in the middle of wa.

definately no desert around pinjarra, but there is the pinacles desert np near cervantes! its around 3 hr drive north of perth, we have a shack there great spot!

Yeah - Pinnacles Desert sounds like it may be what the OP is talking about....but will the mystery ever be solved?
