Great vans, great company to deal with and after sales service excellant.
In my opinion they are over engineered for the average user and therefore a bit too heavy especially the Top Enders but they won't break.
We owned a 2004 Cross Country which were their lightest version and belted it over the Tanami, Merinee loop and
plenty highway with the only problem being the lid of the garlic jar came off and spread garlic paste through the fridge - not the vans fault though.
The new Cross Country 3 look the goods with coil spring
suspension and being lighter than the older versions with the Gall Boys taking one to
test it out recently and apparently it survived very
well.
Cheers

Like everyone says they are great. The only things that broke with our where components from other suppliers. ie; Camec hatches need stronger hindges.
After sales service is great. Tom (service manager) can be a bit if pain if you treat him the wrong way but go past this and see one of
the brothers.
Bushtracker are tougher but they have their troubles as
well. Not as pretty. Someone said, they had a cross country and took it everywhere. You do not need a Top Ender for 98% of where the average person goes.
Almost all Kedron owners we met are great people as
well. The real joy is getting right out there in the middle of nowhere and being confortable. Certainly get one.

Some I have seen towed by the very capable V8 Troopy or Trayback but you have the ultimate tow vehicle for the job, there's only one other Pickup that I would put on the same top rung of the ladder and that's the Dodge Ram with the Cummins Diesel.

Hi
When you are towing 4 ton plus the F truck is superb, I did 230k with my F250 and Bushtracker, fuel was 22 to 25 lp100 but no
driver fatigue.
The ability to
camp in that Nirvana of nowhere is awesome, and one of the best features of the big off road van's.
So where is nowhere LOL if I told you that you would all be there.

Bill I know what you mean. I descovered the soution however as I saw the doctor and explained the problem. He gave me a packet of anti depressants. He said take 2 before heading for the petrol station.
At Barkley Roadhouse last year it would cost $563 to fill her with fuel. In
Maroochydore this morning it would be only just over $450. But I do not care till the pills run out.
