This little booklet is full of useful information for the newcomer to HF radio. It definitely achieves the goal of providing basic information on the topic.
At $20 it is a tad over priced as all the information contained can be found on the Internet if you know where to look and the questions to ask. However this is a good introduction for those who are not sure if HF is for them and is considerably cheaper than buying a second-hand radio.
