Yes they went into liquidation around Sept/October 2010.

hi sandra p
just beware of buying a brand of van that has gone by the way
as even if you get it cheap you may have a witch hunt finding parts down the track
a friend of mine got caught and although some fittings are common on most vans
the things that quiet often fail are the odd bits
the balls in your court and the shot you play now
may not prove to be a winner in the end result
cheers hny

Hi Sandra P.
We bought a Paradise Predator 2 1/2 years ago now. We live in ours and have been travelling and working our way around this fair land of ours.
Yes Paradise did shutdown in QLD and from what I have seen , are now made in Vic under the name off Fusion.
The Paradise Predator that we have has travelled well over 30k and up till now been worry free.
We would recommend the Paradise for construction and finish.
Hope this will help you in your search
Regards
Shayno

Paradise Caravans were made in Melbourne before going bust.
They were sold by a number of dealers throughout the country both under their own brand name and a number of other names including Fusion.
The previous owners are now up and going again with a new company and new brand name. (I'll be the creditors of Paradise didn't get all their money back).

We also own a Paradise Predator caravan which we purchased new and was delivered April 2010. We are very happy with the van, no problems to talk about. Yes, company went down but workmanship and finish is very professional. Most componets in a caravan are readily available and accessible Australia wide.
If you like what you see go with your gut feeling. Good luck

We got ours custon built through a QLD Dealer a Paradise Explorer XL very happy with the van have been living and travling in it since October 2009 though we would make a few changes. One thing I will never go back to the dealer again to buy a van regardless what type of van they sell. Didn't want to know us once we picked up the van didn't even do a proper hand over to show us the features of the van. As we were leaving the salesman said I'll be glad to see the back of you.
