Can someone please tell me how rough the road is between Ivanhoe and
Wilcannia along the Cobb Highway? We will be towing a campervan. Also how long it takes? Thanks

I would expect the road to be in fair to good condition, subject to rain, it certainly
was in Autumn 2010 when we towed a C/t C/t through there. Distance about 180 Km..time ..around 2 hrs.
Dont be caught by the high fuel price at one outlet in
Wilcannia.....oldbaz.

How true. I had no choice and paid $1.70 p/l for unleaded.

Went up that way in Sept to
Silverton and it was pretty reasonable. (We tried the
Menindee rd first but it was way too rough for us)Towed a 22ft van. It was a bit rough in
places towards the Willcania end but we still averaged around 70kph. As said, rain could change things quite quickly. Cheers,Bob
