We are planning a trip up to
Cape York, the Gulf and far western Queensland. Can anyone please tell us what fuel prices are in these areas. We are leaving in April. Thanks Mandy

Hells Gate roadhouse up that way was $2.00 / ltr when we passed through this year. back down to $1.70 something around Kathrine and most of the towns on the main highway route through to
Darwin.
towns on the main hwy route will generally be cheaper then the more out of the way
places, once you start going more remote it becomes even more expensive. Bramwell
Junction usually is by far the most expensive place for fuel heading up the Cape, fuel up before getting there and you shouldn't need to get fuel there unless your range is short fuel wise in your vehicle.
