I've got 50mm lift on my 120 Prado (springs and shocks/struts) and am very happy with the lift and ride quality. The also have a 3 year warranty on there components.
I have seen kits advertised on fleabay for as low as $1200

Prado weights 2600kg with full tanks of fuel and
water.
Fair bit of weight on the front with TJM steel bar and winch, AGM aux battery, air comp etc. As for the rear we carry 65 litre
water tank, 40l Engel and fridge slide.
We use poly-air airbags to when we tow the caravan.

I have 3inch efs lift in my 80 series. Has been in there for 4 years now with no dramas. I used to fit their products in my workshop and never had a warranty issue. Very helpful people as
well.

Hi Robert
I have an EFS package on my 07 Rodeo Twincab. Bought with high recommendations from my tyre bloke. It made a world of difference and I was quite happy.
But just one thing. I bought the standard spring rate package for the rear and not a 'heavy' duty option. Something like 280k's to 400 k's but I'm guessing. I didn't want the harsh ride when empty. I changed the configuration from a tub/flexiglass canopy to a alloy tray and full alloy canopy.
Short story, the rear springs failed on a trip to the Cape. Probably would have been under warranty (didn't try - a bit hard when you are on the road) but needed a reset (going up) and then a rebuild (coming back) (Thankyou NQ Springs - great service).
In short, would get the 'heavy' duty springs if I went with EFS - or any other brand really - but
mine is a ute not a wagon. I feel the standard springs were not really up to it but I am not in any way an engineer's bootlace. Would I buy again - probably - good value for money and probably my poor choice of spring rate.
cheers
Rossy
