Bought a new van dec 2010. Casale machine played up on first use. Had it replaced under warranty. Just tried new one and has same problem ie.....goes out of balance on spin and does not cut out to stop damaging machine. has anyone else had same problem.

Washing machines are normally shipped with transport locks on the internal spring suspension to avoid the internals bouncing about in transport. These locks need to be released before putting machine into operation. The instruction book should have information to do this.

If the locks are not released the machine will "go out of balance on spin and not cut out". Sounds like your problem?

It seems as if i'm talking to myself as we bought our new van in Dec 2010 and has a casale washing machine also. It was always banging and knocking the sides out of the machine, soooo we had it replaced on warranty also with a new one and it still does the same thing, I think it is a cheaper brand to the Lemair as I cannot find a price for it. I have just read the answer about the way it is packaged, so my husband will have a look, as he wanted to pull it out anyway and have a look, the barrel is too flexible and he feels it needs tightening. Why is it not in the destructions that this piece needs to be remove. Good luck with yours, if this doesn't work it will be in the bin and I'll have to buy a Lemair. My previous Lemair I had no problems.
