Hi all !
Back again to ask another question. Has anybody used slotted steel angle? A few nights ago, I checked out the forum, for kitchen systems to use in our new (second hand) camper. and now, I have just been an my daily walk along Rye foreshore to see a pull out kitchen setup made from slotted steel angle, in the back of sombodys camper.. Ok, it didnt look as flash as one of the stainless steel jobs, but it looked in my price range though ! Does anybody out there have any feedback/where to get it?

I've done quite a bit with dexeon and handi angle...
The stuff is good and bad.

The whole grown up mechano thing is great if ya cant weld.

But....slotted angle has limitations on how neat you can make stuff and you are tied into the incriments in the slots.
The stuff also is not very strong compared to more conventional steel products.
AND the stuff aint cheap, in comparison to conventional steel products

Given the task and an ability to weld, you would be far better off in many ways to build out of 25 x 25 RHS.

cheers
