Hi There, i picked up an engel fridge that is old and was an insurance claim that was written off for client. i put it back together and bugger me the thing worked. it works on 240v but wont go on 12v i have taken the top off and i have 2 red wires with lugs on sticking up. where the hell do they go? there is no other termination point for them?!!?

your very limited source of imfo is typical of people who ask for help
how old is it what size fridge is it
look at the plate on end or side it should give all the relevant details unless they have been chaffed /rubbed off
there should be a 240v socket and also a 12volt socket side by side where the power cables plug into it either on its end or side
we need to know what size the fridge is
i also dont get what you mean by 2 red wires with lugs sticking up
do you mean spade terminals or what
what are the wires attached to
do they come from the 12volt power socket or from some other part
a picture would be of great use the balls in your court
