Picked up my brand new "Plain Vanilla" 79 Series Single cab this afternoon (Colour French Vanilla).

Now comes all the hard work, fitting it out with all the bells and whistles .. lol..!

thanks for all the replies. Mate over the road has been over checking things out. He says I made the right choice... NOT buying the 200 series.... lol..!

I have driven it (the 79 that is) around the block a couple of times today, so it now has a massive total of forty six kilometers on the clock already... lol..!

Tomorrow the work begins.

Onya Fred. I hope you get the same good service the old faithfull prado gave you, but Im sure you will be saving on fuel now especially on those long runs and the aircons probably a lot colder then the 120's ever were.........

I very nearly purchased the 76 series Wagon. I love the look of those things.
In the end I chose the GX 200 LC. Pick it up tomorrow.
