Will Bull Bar Fit

Hi Guys,

Quick question for a friend of mine.

They have been offered a bull bar off a MQ patrol, will it fit a GQ Patrol.

It is a freebie so worth the ask

It would depend on what make of bull bar is but I don't think it will fit.

The front of a leaf sprung MQ is different to a coil sprung GQ.

Fitting the bar will require a bit of engineering

That's what l thought but was not too sure as the change a bit between models.

I have not seen either the 4wd or bull bar, we were just talking about it

But it was worth a try, just in case.

Gday,
The vehicle widths will be the same so the only thing they will need to change are the mounts. Even if they cant do it themselves it would be a lot cheaper to get a boilermaker to fabricate new mounts than it will be to buy a whole new bar.
