Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, on the portable twin tub type washing machines you can buy on ebay?

we bought one from ebay a few months ago.
used it quite a bit on hollidays no problems yet
washes pretty good spin dryer gets them pretty dry
one thing is they use a bit of water probly around 10-12 litres
we start with clean water on the first wash
use fresh water for the second wash and save it to use in the first wash on the next load and so on.saves some water.
the wife loves it and has saved us more then the $100 we paid for it by not going to laundrys
cheers

love
mine - takes about an hour to do a weeks wash including sheets (one at a time)and towells. Just have to be organised to catch the water from the spinner and put back into wash - I do all washing first then change water for 1 rinse and only do one rinse - any dirt that does not come out in the first 4 minutes probably still wont after a longer wash
