While you haven't asked there is about a 500MM creek crossing between Fruit Bat falls and Twin falls /Elliot Falls which is about 7Km further along the OTL>

The camping ground is at Twin Falls.

Its over Elliot Creek. It was easy when we were there in 2010. What are you driving?

Hang on. Let me post a map. I think that I had the wrong place. I do not recall anything major from that track to the falls.

I cannot see any crossing. The track stops in a carpark short of Eliot Creek.

Providing you have the skills to go with the car you will be fine. You should not need the locker. There are plenty of cars going through that will help you if you are stuck. But if it will make you feel better get a pair of maxi tracks as a substitute.

Our two sons in their cars went up with the only problem was coming out of Cannibal. The younger son (he's 39) did not get his steering right and ended up with it off the ground and needed a guide to back up and have another go. Piece of cake the second time. Wheel placement is extreemly helpful.

We did not do Gunshot but the eldest did in a stock standard 100 series Toyota. But only going north. Going south is the harder way. We took the bypass and easily crossed all the others on the whole OTL including 1.3M of water up near Nolan's

Try to include both the Starcke and Frenchman's tracks as well.
