Hi All
Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a tow ball rated at 3500kgs with a high rise neck of approx 20 to 30mm. I have one that is 62mm but it is too high to suit the WDH. If yes would you know where I can buy one.
Thanks and have a great day.
:)

Try any auto parts store,Supercheap,Autobarn,Repco, etc.
The ones I have are 50mm x 3.5 T, the measurement from the hitch to the center of the ball is 50mm.
About $22.

Cheers,
Barry

Thanks Barry but I need one with a long neck to suit a Hyland Hitch. Auto parts stores do not seem to carry them. I already have one that is 62mm high but I was looking for something about 20 to 30mm high in the neck. Some places call them high rise.
Thanks again. :)

Give Darren Hyland (Maker) a call on (07) 3200 6261, he may be able to help.
Good luck,

Thanks everyone for the input. I have tried numerous auto and trailer shops but they can only offer a long neck tow ball rated at 2500kgs and I need 3500kgs. I will give Darren Hyland a call. Thanks again for the info.
Have a great day.
Regards
Dian :)

I did a search here and I did check in google but if you had read my thread correctly you would have seen that I already have a tow ball with a long neck of 62mm as shown in your reply. I am looking for something a little shorter but thanks for the reply. :)

Dear John
My goodness. Who died and made you in charge of EXPLORE OZ. I am a relatively new user to this forum and I certainly never expected such an agressive reply to a simply question. I was under the impression that a forum was for all to use and share information... I also believe that there is NO SUCH thing as a dumb question. Perhaps if certain questions annoy you, you should refrain from entering into the discussion.
Anyway hang in there and I hope the anger dissipates with time. I wish you all the best in your travels.
Regards
Dian :)

There are a few grumpy fellows on this forum unfortunately.
Just make sure you don't have a joke about a brand....that's when they all come out.

Ark 3.5t 50mm towball is what I use with my Hyland coupling (and have done for several years),

and is what Darren Hyland (apparently) endorses for use with his couplings >>Hyland

I was a member for years then decided to pull the pin (even have the wheel cover in my shed) as when ever myself or some one asked a question it was people like yourself who turned me away from asking on here as was sick of getting nailed for what me and others thought was a legitimate question, (check when was the last question I asked on here). I apologize as i saw your apology after I had sent the post. Another thing is people complaining about spelling, not every body had the same education and some may be professionals and spell without making any mistakes or you have some one who was not as fortunate as others to have a great upbringing and good education. Yes there is spell check but that is only of use if you really know how to spell. People who read the posts know what the person is trying to say, why belittle them on here in front of everyone, pisses me off, My wife and I do fostering for kids and I can tell you there's a lot more to worry about then some one who might not spell there words correctly...........Cheers Steve M (my old user/member name) PS again I apologise, didnt see your apology till I after I had hit the submit button...............
