Just had a week and a bit at
Flanagans reserve , out the back of the
Gold Coast via
Beaudesert . Great spot we sheltered here while there was 10 inches of rain in the week on the coast , we had about 2 or 3 inches but didn't have to move , the Logan River which the reserve is on looked threatening at times but we were quite safe .
Good camp among trees the managersGerard and Juanita were fantastic , friendly , respectful and helpful .
Pet friendly on a lead of course , each
camp hada fire bin and firewood can be bought at the kiosk $10.00 worth was lasting 3 days $28.00 a day for 5 of us , hot showers 20 cent coin operated . Plenty of wildlife , kookas , finches , goannas , possums .
Overall a really good stay and highly reccomende .

Should have seen this place before the Council appointed managers. Flogged out and eroded. Not very nice at all except for the
swimming hole. Gerard and Juanita have done a good job.

We also stayed there last year. Loved the place though it was a little dry and dusty though I think this will improve with the management. I would recommend it to anyone. Ditto for the comments about Gerard and Juanita - lovely couple doing a great job.
