Im off to
Augusta in south west WA in my 73 series landcruiser with my son.Got to get some use out of that $350 tent I bought for our trip to Walpole last xmas.
I like to stay in good caravan and
camping parks and get a powered site so I can take my bar fridge, mini electric stove, milkshake maker, fan, stereo and string up a heap of those fluro lights .
You may laugh at my 'roughing it' but for $2 per day extra for power I dont have to buy ice,LPG gas and bottles or expensive car fridges and all the extra batteries/headaches ect to run it.

Hi Y'all
We're off to Fraser Island at Christmas until into the New Year.
Bush camping with some family friends. No facilities but between us we live like kings.
A few fresh scaley creatures will make dinner fit for the king.
Y'all have a great time now and we'll talk to you in the New Year. We will all have bragging rights.
Cheers

My advance pregnancy means we're sticking to town this Xmas. Staying in a CVP :-( near
Busselton and doing something really different to the norm (for us anyway)...the usual touristy things. Gunna do the Margaret River wineries, restaurants, cheese and choccy :-) factories, take the littl'n to
the beach, animal farm and take the tram out on the mile long jetty and check out the new underwater observatory there. Would we rather be off 4Wdriving and
bush camping somewhere? Yes, but I think we can live with the alternative!

Have a safe and enjoyable trip all those who are heading away. I will be eagerly awaiting the stories of your travels on your return. Unfortunately this little black duck is working through Christmas and New Years (with exception of the 3 public holidays). Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
cheers,
Sam.

A few of us are heading up the coast to
Lancelin and then 4wding onto
Wedge Island (Approx 150kms North of
Perth) on Sat. 27th for a few days of R & R . A friend has a
beach shack we can use so the camper will stay home this trip, if the fishing is OK may stay on into the New Year/weekend, the idea is to have a good time and take it as it comes. C ya.

There there Eskimo, it'll be your turn one day. But even the
cook at home has been muttering about Public Servants like me and our obvious (to her!) lack of work ethics.
But with 2 weeks off at the end of this one, I don't care what she says.
HOHOHOHO and bah humbug to the rest of Xmas.
PS. Work is a four letter word and the curse of the drinking classes!

Hi Peter, was going to head that way with the kids to a spot just short of Cape Arid so they can catch a fish. I was there 2 years ago and the Samon went off 30+ in 1 day. But decided that 5 hrs drive vs 10 was better. So will be heading close to Bremmer Bay.1991 80Series Std Diesel
