I am looking at a 37' 5th wheeler and want to put another aircon in it as the previous owners have said it struggles with the one it has in it at the moment. Could I have some feed back from the experienced as to what I should be looking for and generally how much they cost?
I am a true novice I am afraid and any info would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe look at an upgrade to a bigger unit the the one you have got.

Thanks Tony.
So you think I should replace the one I have.
I thought I could add another one as
well seeing as the existing unit still works. Double the effect as I have seen the new 37' 5th wheelers with 2 units. Would that not work?

Gooday,
Would suggest you look at the possibility of installing a Domestic Inverter split system, know a lot who have done this with their caravans. They are much quieter, will run off a 1 Kva generator and far more efficient.
If the existing one is a roof top you may be able to remove it and replace it with a 4 seasons Hatch.
Cheers,

Thanks Boroma 604,
Thats sounds like a good idea but I was wondering where would the outside fan unit go? I think they are quite large and the 5th wheeler is a goose neck. Any ideas about where to mount it?

My thoughts are it maybe easier to replace the current unit than find somwhere to put a second one.
