Could anyone tell me where the breather hoses are situated, on the gear box and transfer case on the 70 series Landcruiser V8.

On top and returns into the bell housing

Its a good idea to extend all ya breathers....both diffs, GBX, tranny..AND fuel tank breathers.
Unless of course you only intend to go as deep as the hubs

mine from Pertek and they were really helpful. They all came together under the bonnet into a common joiner / air filter.
