I really enjoyed this video. If your planning the trip yourself it is invaluable as it shows exactly what you'll be up against. I need to watch it again and take notes as lots of points of interest are mentioned which I wont want to miss. My recommendation is to buy it.

I have this dvd as
well and quite enjoyed it. I recommend a book called "
Canning Stock Route A Travellers Guide" by Ronele and Eric Gard. It has heaps of information about things to see on the CSR.

Stongly agree with Carlin, the DVD is ok for a bit of an overview but Ronelle and Eric Gard's book is an invaluable reference.
