Bakebeans and a egg or two in the pan together, them straight onto toast,

Whether its out in the scrub, or in a five star resort, who gives a toss!

Its the Go!..I reckon.....The ten year old Grandson tried it a while back, and as he stayed overnight, i was woken this morning to this!.." Wan't some Beans and a egg Pop!!'.. I've made mine".. . Really put a grin on my dial. Nan! , Well she thinks where both hideous and feral , but as i said everyone to their own.

Cheers Axle.

Makes a damn fine jaffle (waffle?) as well, you know those two half clamshell things you put in the campfire. One piece of bread pushed into one half, add egg, add beans, bung another piece of bread on top, clamp together and put in coals,,yuummmmmm.

Cheers

Cut it out Axle and the rest of you. Just give a thought to all the pore old codgers on this site that have had bypass surgery and need roughage for breakfast. Baked beans are no substitute for Allbran. If you keep talking about breakfasts that you can taste you will have us all in tears.

funny you bring this up, i often see posts about trying to get fresh fruit n veg (and complaints cause one cant!!) and people asking about something called "mountain bread" and all sorts of other weird stuff ........... i really dont get it as we "escape" the rat race of formallitys and try our hardest to get back to a simple and basic life in the bush, basic eating, basic cooking with .... FIRE .... and basic eating, we only clean ourselfs and our gear when and where we can and we have a ball doing it ..... but some still seem to desperatly hang screaming on to some crap they probally dont even have at home, man i have seen kitchen set-ups on CAMPER TRAILERS that are better than some house kitchens "wtf" is all i can say eh ..... (i even took a fondu set once) ....
Yes we love it like that, staple food in my books..
Cheers

Joe, its because some people feel as strongly about regularly eating fresh fruit and vegetables as you feel about having a Toyota to go bush. And some of us for very good reasons.
Cheers,
