Members I am after any advice on which snorkel to fit to my 2006 NP 3.2 Diesel Paj Exceed Auto.

I am slowly building her up for touring and am heading off up the Oodnadatta later in the year so an effective snorkel goes without saying.

Any advice/feedback good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Scotty,

My suggestion is to contact the guys on the Victorian Pajero Club forum.

They're a great bunch of helpful blokes who will point you in the right direction.

Duck on here & see what you reckon:

Have got a Safari on my '06 3.2 DiD Exceed - looks good (for a snorkel) and was available at TJM for a good price (can't remember how much but was a lot better than ARB supply & fit price). Can't fault neatness of the install. Also the Airtec had a few weeks wait at the time & didn't fit into my timeframe.
Cheers

PS - don't think either of these two brands is any better than the other so would go with price and avail over a particular brand.

TG, thanks for the info I thought that it would be the case either Safari or Airtec. I had an Airtec on my Patrol and had no dramas. Since you also have an 06 diesel Exceed and info re/ Cargo Barriers or Bash Plates.

Scotty.

Scotty - I have the full length Milford cargo barrier - made up a set of shelves etc to fit up to this in the back - all works well for me! Got a set of bash plates from Bushskinz - intercooler, sump & transmission - excellent quality, easyish to fit (intercooler one is a bit of a PITA) and give peace of mind on the rougher stuff. Have a look for Pearcie from Bushskinz on the Pajero forum - excellent to deal with & often has special group buys on for forum members.
Cheers

TG, thanks for the info I am doing the same, shelves to be made with 1" By 1" box steel with fridge slide. Looked into Bushskinz.

I'll probably pick your brains at a later stage.
