Hi All,

Just a quick not about our trip up to Teewah Beach. Towing a Trackabout Safari RV with a NT Pajero, the trip was easy, with no problems negotiating the soft stuff. Low 4 Lc on the soft and back into H4 running the beach.Tyres at 18PSI.

Camped about 12 ks North of the start of the beach camping zone, good area of grass. Faced the opening of the rig North thus avoiding the SE wind that blew its head off. No sign or smell of other previous campers. We had a great 3 days as our first beach camp and annot wait to get back there again.

I was just up there over the weekend and could not believe the amount of people camping for a non school holiday weekend.

As always it's such a nice place I can't get enough of it.

I was up there on the weekend to with about 24 other guys from AKFF all hitting the bay chasing mack's and tuna in our kayaks. Wasn't a huge haul across the board but we had some good fish landed in the group. The weather wasn't perfect for us with the wind up a little more than forecast, especially once you poked out beyond the point, but we got out both days and had a great time.

It's a magic place and we're all keen to have another trip there.
