Hi,
Does anyone know of a site that I can put a couple of old pictures, taken on travels a while back, where someone may be able to identify the place?

As a member of EO you could put them up here for all to help :). No need for an external site ;)
Hope that helps,
Andrew

They appear to be a mining town in the early days.

Sand dune and saltbush.
Could be
White Cliffs NSW?

Hi
Sand Dune?! Looks like some type of
limestone to me. Either way not sure the information (vegetation and soil type) is enough to confirm location. I like those old pictures - will be good if someone knows the area.
Cheers

I would say it is neither
White Cliffs area or
Silverton.
The cutting is different to the one at
Silverton and I think there are too many buildings spread over a big area for it to be
White Cliffs
Not sure if there is a large structure along the ridge on the left of the cutting.
It's a bit hard to tell in the photo.
cheers
Dave
