Hi Mick and
Shell
Lake Cargelligo is an RV friendly town and offers both free/low cost options as
well as a caravan park.

Hello Mick,
We camped at
Booberoi Weir last
Easter for a night and its a nice spot. The weir was lovely with all the water rushing over it. This is between Lake Cargellico and Condoblin on the north side of the river.
Free camp.
We also called in to
check out
Gum Bend Lake near Condoblin and it was good too. Lots of room, amenities etc.
Both are in the Camps 6 book.
Best wishes
Viv

There is also good camping on the South side of the river at the weir.

From
Cobar you can visit Gundabooka NP.
Well worth a trip and you can arrange to see the aboriginal
cave art. Contact them for details. The park itself is quite an experience.
Well worth it. Shindy's Inn at
Louth is worth the drop in. They've done lots of work there. Agree with others about the camping out at the weir at LC. We were there 2 yrs ago and it was wonderful.

Hi,
take care travelling out there at the moment.
It seems there is a lot of water about.
Check out the RTA map for raod closures at

Have fun,

There's not much you can do about it. Just bad timing but it'll make a good story later.
Have fun,
Steve

We spent a day in LAKE CARGELLO. Stayed in Caravan Park Sept 2011, loved it very picturesque town & friendly people.
