Hi All . . . It's time to look at more substantial front and rear bars for the Maverick Shortie. The problem is that it was purchased with a body lift and I'm finding that I have limited options as a result. Has anyone successfully either modified a readily available after-marked bar or had something manufactured? The little bit of homework I have done to date has shown that it is not practical to modify something like an ARB winch bar.

Cheers and Merry Christmas to all!

Weve modified several high mount winch bars to suit 3" body lift.
It is difficult unless you dont mind getting into it and gas axeing a new bar apart!
Overkill engineering at hornsby do custom lifts on arb bars and other bits, give them a call, good blokes, they may be able to steer you in the right direction.
Havent got their number, look in the 4wd monthly mag where they always advertise.
