Not sure it would be long enough for you to sleep in the back, Muz.
Also, it may not have the clearance that your Patrol has for those High Country creek crossings.
On the other hand, they are nice looking bits of kit.

Short wheel base, already given the landy a fright!!.... Later model and V8,??..If the price i s right?

I don't own a Jeep but have worked on hundreds of them. The 4.7 V8 is bullet proof so long as it hasn't been over heated and is
well serviced. It's the vehicle electrics that will give you the most problems, also at that age the trims will be starting to fall apart. One thing that is a common problem on this vehicle is the ventilation control flaps in the heater box break off and can be costly to fix. Make sure the heater/air con works in all modes ie. screen, floor etc...
Also make sure you're happy with the soft/soggy American
suspension.
