Hi all, Can anyone provide me with the Lat and Long of "Hidden Valley" in the north Flinders Ranges. I understand that it somewhere north of the Paralana Hot Springs.

If we did that then it wouldn't stay "Hidden"!

Ha ha, sorry, wish I could help.

Does it show on Google Earth? You would be able to get co-ords from there if so.

Cheers Neil

Unfortunately it's not on Google Earth, and I'm not aware of the precise location, which is why I'm looking for the Lat and Long.

Have you asked the folk at Arkaroola Village?

I have been there and as near as I can tell from google earth it is
31-24-389s 138-49-608e

Its at the end of a road going to the east not far past wilpena pound turn off

There is a car park then you walk to your right along a creek bed through the hidden valley
has a lot of aboriginal carvings on rocks
the valley opens up into a paddock at the far south end
valley runs north south

Hi Peter,

Of course there is "Hidden Gorge" in the Southern Flinders but that's a long way from The Gammon Ranges.

Some tracks show on Google Earth but seem to end. By the look of the terrain there could be numerous hidden valleys in the vicinity. Where did you hear of this hidden valley?

I think Arkaroola would be your best source for info. Sound like one of those places named by a tour guide.
