Eric, Vodaphone arena, (colonial stadium, whatever they call it this week!!) centre circle is at 37Deg, 49.113 min South, 144 Deg, 56.820min East.
UTM conversion, 55H319250,5812300. The area he will land is Victoria harbour, approx 500 mtrs due west. 37Deg 49.020 S. 144 Deg 56.387 Min East. Does he have a mooring wharf or pier No. designation? South side of central pier would be my recommendation.

Hope this helps.

Eric,
the marinas you talk about will be the ones in the north east corner of Victoria Harbour. Above co-ords for Vic Harbour, then head N/E. its quite big, shouldn't miss it. ( only extended timber jetti in harbour). All along north side of Harbour is mooring for party / restaurant cruise vessels, such as "Alma Doepel"

Hope he enjoys it...

Vodaphone arena is along way from the Docklands.
Vodaphone is beside Rod Laver Arena the home of Tennis in Melbourne

Is is Telstra Dome Formerly Colonial Stadium ? that you want.

That is as Jarrod said about 500 meters north of the Victoria Dock Precinct of the Docklands.

Otherwise he will be sailing his boat up Flinders St to get there.

Regards
John

Toonfish, that was my first thought too, but sure there are enough maps available and GPS too to provide all such info if they wanted it.

They may already be onto us at Exploroz ;-]
