I don't know about anyone else but for about three days now the site is hit and miss as to whether you get a response or not sometimes you have to ask it to reload two or three times before the penny drops. Anyone else I wonder.

No problems 3 or 4 times over the last 3 days posting replies.
Use Mac / OSX / Safari...if that makes any difference.

Brad.

same problem here...

interestingly enough... www.exploroz.com.au still responds to pings and i can still telnet to it on port 80... problem is i don't get a response

maybe it's timed restarts of iis to get around the site crashing? either way, it definitely doesnt appear to be comms related.

cheers,

KG

Has timed out a few times for me and got slow occasionally and have to press F5 to refresh too, but that has been the way for a couple of weeks or more.

I was away for a few days and even broadband in South Australia I could not get a response one time.Regards

This is all interesting - I do not see much on my monitoring system that connects the to site every two minutes and opens a page looking for a certain response. In the last few days the only major reported incidents are related to my office connection ISP rebooting my broadband service.

There were two incidents on Friday that lasted for a total of 30 mins all up over the 24 hours. One incident today that last 10 mins (not sure what that one was - I will be investigating).

Can you guys give me times when this happens otherwise I am shooting in the dark and have nothing to give the ISP.Regards

Oh yeah just thought I would add that during the week we have three people that use the site all the time during business hours and we see a few things happen but not that much that I would have thought a post would be lodged. As mentioned before I can only check it if I have some times and please don't put it in the forum - send it to me in email I do not read everything in the forum all the time however I run my email system 24 hours a day.Regards

Guys,

Just completed a major update to the forum code and the site is working very well now. I have reduced the complexity of the forum code and the amount of memory used on the server. I am confident that this will remove all bottle necks of the site and things should be running very smootly and very fast.

Let me know if any problems still exist!
Regards
