Hello can anyone answer a question as to why the steering wheel on the new troopy's are off centre, this mean's that the left side of the steering wheel is further from the right side. I went to toyota and they totally agree that it's a fault.

Its off centre because its a "fault" according to your own post and Toyota have agreed.
Its either bolted to the dash incorrectly or god knows what, but sometimes you have to crawl under and have a look for yourself.
I would have thought Toyota would have had closer look seeing as they agreed its a "fault"

Dear Wayne ,this is the lamest post I have seen for sometime.
You claim its a fault and that Toyota agree its a fault, then you say "you will find exactly the same thing in any new troopy"???
The you say it "take someone to post a fault to get something done"???
If thats the position Toyota intended the steering wheel to be in ,it is not a fault Wayne.
Next time you feel like posting something, dont ,just take the keyboard and throw it down the
toilet.

What exactly is off centre??
Is it the steering column not directly in front of you or do you mean the steering wheel is faulty.
Many vehicle do not have the steering column directly in front of the driver.
If you column is not where it should be I would imagine it wouldn't fit within the trim of the dash.
Unsure what is the problem here.

Hello
well i will try and detail as best i can.
When you look at the steering wheel and hold it in the driving position the left hand side is a greater distance from your chest as the right,i hope this helps, beeter still jump into any new troopy and you will feel the same thing.

Jump into a Landrover Defender if you want to feel an offset steering position

Wayne,
I drive these units all the time. Troopys, 76 series and utes.
Just ask the Tojo people to replace it. As far as I can remember the steering wheels have all been the same + or- the air bags.
I can't pick a difference when I get into them except for who has cleaned them.

Wayne are you sure it’s a Troopy?
Mine is asymmetrical - centred on the steering column

Sorry mate just joking.
2008 Troopy – the rim of my steering wheel rotates centrally around the column -
the horn button is offset giving the appearance that the wheel is a bit out of whack.
