Hi Noldi

Not sure if this is going to be any help but as no one else has had a go I will have a try.

It's been a few years since I have been that way but there were a few places along the Dumbleyung-Lake Grace Road where you could pull off into a bit of bush. They all looked a bit small from memory and not designated as camping sites.

The only other suggestion I have, would be to go out along the Kulin-Lake Grace Road "Tin Horse Hwy" and camp at Jilakin Rock overnight. In the morning go down the Kulin -Lake Grace Rd to Lake Grace and then on to Ravensthorpe.

Sorry I can't be of further help.

Jilakin Rock is a great spot certainly. On the Wagin - Lake Grace rd is Lake Dumbleyung where I think you can camp (might need to ring Dumbleyung shire to confirm) as well as the old Nippering townsite which is now just a nice patch of remnant bush with a little track leading into it.

Cheers

Hi Paul

Thanks for that. I had never heard of Nippering before.

I will be interested to hear what the Shire say about Lake Dumbleyung. Always looking for somewhere different to stop overnight.
